National Science Day

About Event: 

National Science Day is celebrated in India on February 28th every year to commemorate the discovery of the Raman Effect by Indian physicist Sir C.V. Raman on the same day in 1928. This day aims to spread awareness about the importance of science and its application in daily life, as well as to encourage more people, especially the youth, to take an interest in science and pursue careers in scientific research.
