About Event-
World Wildlife Day is observed globally on March 3rd each year to raise awareness about the world’s wild animals and plants, and to highlight the importance of conserving and protecting them. This day was designated by the United Nations General Assembly to coincide with the adoption of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) in 1973. It serves as an opportunity to celebrate the diverse flora and fauna on our planet and to promote efforts to combat wildlife crime and preserve biodiversity.
