The School of Management & Commerce (SoMC), Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University (DBUU) will be organizing a 30-Hour Hands-on Workshop on Statistical Data Analysis Using IBM SPSS for Research and Academic Excellence from 27th to 31st. The workshop will be conducted daily from 9:45 AM to 4:30 PM, providing participants with an intensive and practical learning experience in statistical data analysis using IBM SPSS.
The primary objective of this workshop is to enhance the research and analytical capabilities of students, research scholars, and faculty members by equipping them with practical knowledge of statistical techniques and their application in academic and professional research. The sessions will focus on developing participants' competence in handling quantitative data, selecting appropriate statistical tools, and interpreting results accurately.
The workshop will cover essential topics such as data entry and coding, data cleaning, descriptive statistics, reliability analysis (Cronbach's Alpha), correlation, regression analysis, hypothesis testing, t-tests, ANOVA, chi-square tests, factor analysis, and interpretation of SPSS outputs. Participants will also learn how to analyze research data, generate meaningful insights, and present findings suitable for dissertations, research papers, and scholarly publications.
Designed as a hands-on training program, the workshop will include practical exercises, real-time datasets, live demonstrations, and interactive sessions led by experienced resource persons. Participants will gain firsthand experience in using IBM SPSS to perform statistical analyses and solve research problems efficiently.
This workshop reflects the commitment of the School of Management & Commerce, Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University, to promoting research excellence, fostering analytical thinking, and empowering participants with industry-relevant statistical and data analysis skills. AIM of the Event:
- To provide participants with comprehensive hands-on training in IBM SPSS for statistical data analysis and research applications.
- To enhance the quantitative research and analytical skills of students, research scholars, and faculty members.
- To familiarize participants with the complete process of data management, coding, cleaning, and statistical analysis using SPSS.
- To develop an understanding of key statistical techniques such as descriptive statistics, correlation, regression, hypothesis testing, t-tests, ANOVA, chi-square tests, and factor analysis.
- To enable participants to accurately interpret SPSS outputs and present research findings effectively in dissertations, theses, and research publications.
