The event “Composition with After Effects” was organized to provide students with practical exposure to motion graphics, visual effects, and digital compositing using Adobe After Effects, one of the most widely used software applications in the animation and VFX industry. The session aimed to enhance students’ understanding of composition techniques and their application in creating professional-quality visual content.
During the event, participants were introduced to the fundamentals of compositing, including layer management, keyframing, masking, blending modes, and animation principles. The resource person demonstrated how different visual elements such as images, videos, text, and special effects can be combined seamlessly to create engaging motion graphics and cinematic sequences. Students also learned about color correction, motion tracking, green screen compositing, and the use of effects and presets to improve visual storytelling.
