The School of Architecture, Planning and Design (SOAPD) and the School of Journalism and Liberal Arts (SOJLA) of Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University (DBUU) are organizing “Avalokan 3.0 – Diwali Exhibition cum Sale” in collaboration with the Institute’s Innovation Council (IIC) on 15th October 2025 at the Main Ground, DBUU. This vibrant event is designed not only for students and faculty members but also for the local community, offering everyone an opportunity to come together and celebrate the joyous festival of Diwali in a creative and engaging manner.
The exhibition aims to promote cultural understanding, creativity, innovation, and community bonding through a platform that encourages students to display their artistic talents, design skills, and entrepreneurial spirit. Participants will present a wide range of handcrafted items, festive decorations, paintings, art installations, and eco-friendly products, all reflecting the spirit of Diwali and sustainable celebration practices. Alongside the exhibits, there will be food stalls, handmade craft corners, and live demonstrations that bring a festive buzz to the campus environment.
Avalokan 3.0 also serves as an opportunity for students to experience real-world learning beyond the classroom by engaging in marketing, presentation, and teamwork. It encourages collaboration between different disciplines, blending creativity from architecture and design with communication and storytelling from journalism and liberal arts.
The purpose of this event is to celebrate the festival of lights while fostering a sense of unity, joy, and inclusiveness among students, faculty, and visitors. It reinforces DBUU’s vision of nurturing innovation, sustainability, and cultural heritage. The event promises to be an inspiring celebration filled with colors, creativity, and community spirit—making Avalokan 3.0 a shining example of festive learning and collaborative excellence at DBUU.
