About sessionThe session, conducted at the Ayurveda Hall for BAMS students across all academic years, focuses on integrating essential Basic Life Support (BLS) skills with the spirit of innovation, entrepreneurship, and healthcare leadership. This unique program highlights how lifesaving competencies can inspire students to identify real-world problems in emergency care and transform them into innovative and practical solutions.Through hands-on demonstrations, interactive learning, and discussions guided by the principles of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), students will explore opportunities for creating impactful health-tech ideas, community initiatives, and startup concepts rooted in emergency response and Ayurvedic healthcare practice.The session aims to empower future Ayurvedic practitioners with not only the clinical competence to respond confidently during emergencies but also the visionary mindset to design and develop improved healthcare systems, devices, and solutions that contribute to society’s well-being.The session, held in the Ayurveda Hall for BAMS students of all academic years, was designed to provide comprehensive training in Basic Life Support (BLS) while promoting awareness of innovation and entrepreneurship within the healthcare sector. Aligned with the objectives of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), the program emphasized the importance of integrating clinical emergency skills with creative problem-solving and startup-oriented thinking.Participants were introduced to evidence-based BLS techniques, emergency response protocols, and the role of timely intervention in improving patient outcomes. The session further encouraged students to identify existing gaps in emergency care and explore opportunities for developing innovative, cost-effective, and community-focused solutions relevant to both modern and Ayurvedic healthcare practice.This initiative aimed to enhance students’ competency in emergency management while fostering an entrepreneurial outlook toward addressing real-world healthcare challenges.

AIM of the Event:

  • Core Skills Training: Equip participants with fundamental Basic Life Support (BLS) skills, including CPR, airway management, and emergency response techniques.
  • Confidence Building: Boost participants' confidence in effectively managing real-life medical emergencies with practical, hands-on experience.
  • Identifying Gaps: Encourage students to recognize shortcomings or inefficiencies in current emergency care systems.
  • Creative Solutions: Inspire students to think innovatively and propose solutions to improve BLS tools, devices, and overall response systems.
