Dandiya Night

The Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University (DBUU) is organizing a grand Dandiya Night on Tuesday, 30th September 2025, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM within the university premises (Main Ground). This special evening is being planned to celebrate the vibrant festival of Navratri, which symbolizes devotion, cultural unity, and joy. The program is open to all students and faculty members, ensuring an inclusive atmosphere where the DBUU community can come together to enjoy music, dance, and festivities.

The event will highlight the essence of Indian traditions and provide a refreshing break from academic routines. The dress code for the evening will be Indian ethnic attire, encouraging participants to showcase their cultural roots and add color to the celebration. The evening will feature energetic dandiya and garba performances, accompanied by a DJ and sound system to keep the spirit alive. Special arrangements such as lighting, stage setup, and decoration will further enhance the festive environment.

This program not only aims to provide entertainment but also fosters cultural appreciation, social bonding, and active participation among students. Events like these play a significant role in building a lively campus culture, where traditions and modernity blend seamlessly. With the active support of the Dean of Student Welfare and necessary approvals from university authorities, the Dandiya Night promises to be an evening full of fun, rhythm, and memorable experiences for the entire DBUU community.
