Deeksharambh is the Student Induction Program conducted at Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University (DBUU) to welcome newly admitted students and help them begin their academic journey with confidence. The program is designed to ensure a smooth transition from school to university by introducing students to the university's academic environment, culture, values, and facilities.
At DBUU, Deeksharambh includes orientation sessions where students learn about the university's vision, mission, academic regulations, examination system, library, laboratories, digital learning resources, and student support services. They also meet faculty members, department heads, senior students, and university officials, which helps them feel comfortable and connected to the campus community.
The program features motivational lectures by experienced academicians, industry experts, and distinguished guests who inspire students to set goals and work towards academic excellence. Students participate in interactive activities such as group discussions, personality development sessions, communication skills workshops, cultural programs, sports, yoga, and team-building exercises. These activities help improve confidence, leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
