DEEKSHARAMBH-2026 – Student Orientation Program was organized to warmly welcome the newly admitted students and help them transition smoothly into university life. The orientation program aimed to familiarize students with the academic environment, institutional values, campus facilities, and the diverse opportunities available for their overall personal and professional development. The event served as the first step in building a strong connection between students, faculty members, and the university community.
The program commenced with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony and an inaugural address by the university dignitaries, who welcomed the fresh batch and inspired them to pursue academic excellence with integrity, innovation, and social responsibility. During the orientation, students were introduced to the university's vision, mission, academic regulations, examination system, curriculum framework, code of conduct, anti-ragging policies, and student support services. Special emphasis was placed on discipline, ethical values, research culture, skill development, entrepreneurship, innovation, and holistic learning.
Faculty members from various departments interacted with the students and provided detailed information about their respective programs, course structure, laboratory facilities, internships, industry collaborations, placement opportunities, and career prospects. Students were also made aware of the various clubs, societies, cultural activities, sports facilities, NSS, NCC, and extracurricular initiatives that encourage leadership, teamwork, and community engagement.
The orientation program featured motivational sessions by distinguished speakers and experienced academicians, who shared valuable insights on adapting to university life, developing essential life skills, effective communication, time management, digital learning, and career planning. Interactive sessions, question-and-answer rounds, and campus familiarization activities enabled students to clarify their queries and become comfortable with their new academic environment.
Overall, DEEKSHARAMBH-2026 successfully created a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for the newly admitted students. The program instilled confidence, motivated students to set meaningful academic and personal goals, and encouraged them to actively participate in the university's academic, research, cultural, and social initiatives.
