ONE DAY SEMINAR ON STRESS MANAGEMENT
The School of Nursing, Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University, in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), will organize a one-day seminar titled “Digital Innovation Spirit: Stress Management and Mental Well-Being Using Health Mobile Applications.” This seminar is designed as part of the stress management elective module for B.Sc. Nursing students, keeping in view the increasing academic and clinical pressures faced by nursing professionals.
The seminar aims to enhance students’ understanding of stress, its causes, and its physiological and psychological impact on health. Emphasis will be placed on identifying personal stressors and learning evidence-based coping strategies such as mindfulness, deep breathing, relaxation techniques, time management, and resilience building. Special focus will be given to the role of digital health innovations and mobile applications in promoting mental well-being, self-monitoring, and stress reduction.
Interactive sessions, expert talks, and practical demonstrations will help students develop practical skills to manage stress effectively in academic, clinical, and personal settings. The seminar also encourages positive thinking, healthy lifestyle practices, and effective interpersonal communication. Overall, the program aims to empower future nurses with self-care strategies, improve their quality of life, reduce burnout, and enhance their ability to deliver compassionate and high-quality patient care.
