The Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University (DBUU) celebrated the Diwali Carnival Fest 2025 on 15th October 2025 with immense enthusiasm, joy, and festive zeal. The grand celebration was organized under the guidance of the Department of Student Welfare in collaboration with the School of Hospitality and Management & Tourism (SOHMT), School of Management and Commerce (SOMC), School of Journalism and Liberal Arts (SOJLA), and the School of Architecture, Planning and Design (SOAPD). The entire campus transformed into a lively and colorful festive hub, illuminated with sparkling lights, lanterns, and decorative installations that beautifully captured the spirit of Diwali.
The event featured a variety of stalls set up by different schools, offering delicious food, exciting games, handcrafted art, and festive merchandise. Each stall reflected the creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurial talent of DBUU students, who worked together to make the celebration memorable. Traditional music, dance performances, and cultural showcases added to the festive vibe, allowing students to experience and appreciate the rich cultural heritage of India.
Beyond the fun and entertainment, the Diwali Carnival Fest embodied the true essence of Diwali – the festival of lights, happiness, and unity.
