IImplementing PCI–NEP 2020 B.Pharm Curriculum: Competency-Based Teaching, Digital Skills, Experiential Learning and Research Excellence

The Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Teaching, Learning and Research for Quality Education” is designed to strengthen the professional competencies of educators, researchers, and academic leaders by equipping them with contemporary knowledge, innovative pedagogical approaches, and advanced research skills. In the rapidly evolving educational landscape, quality education requires a balanced integration of effective teaching practices, learner-centered approaches, and meaningful research contributions.

This FDP aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of modern teaching-learning processes, outcome-based education, curriculum planning, assessment and evaluation strategies, and the effective use of educational technologies. The program will focus on fostering active learning environments that enhance student engagement, critical thinking, creativity, and lifelong learning skills.

In addition to pedagogical excellence, the FDP emphasizes the importance of research in higher education. Sessions will cover research methodology, academic writing, publication ethics, intellectual property rights, quality publications, and emerging trends in interdisciplinary research. Participants will gain practical insights into conducting impactful research and disseminating scholarly work in reputed journals.

The program will feature expert lectures, interactive discussions, case studies, hands-on training sessions, and experience-sharing by eminent academicians and researchers. It will also serve as a platform for collaboration, networking, and the exchange of best practices among participants from diverse academic disciplines.

By the end of the FDP, participants will be better equipped to adopt innovative teaching methodologies, enhance research productivity, integrate technology into education, and contribute effectively to the promotion of quality education in higher educational institutions.
