Educational Camp and Awareness Program - Preventive Healthcare through Integrative and Innovation Approaches

As part of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) Activity Calendar, a community-centred health outreach program titled Integrative and Innovative Approaches for Preventive Healthcare was successfully organized on 24 December 2025 (Wednesday) at Panchayat Bhawan, Gram Badowala. The activity combined a General Health Camp with preventive healthcare awareness, aiming to strengthen community well-being through accessible and holistic health services.

The primary objective of the session was to promote health awareness among the local population by providing free consultations, screening, and therapy services. The program emphasized early detection, prevention of lifestyle-related disorders, and the adoption of healthy daily practices. A key highlight of the event was the integration of traditional Ayurvedic principles with modern physiotherapy-based approaches, offering a comprehensive perspective on preventive healthcare.

The program was conducted with the valuable support of Gram Pradhan Smt. Anju Sharma, whose encouragement and cooperation played an important role in mobilizing community participation. The event was a collaborative effort between the DBMCPS Department and the Ayurveda Department, reflecting interdisciplinary teamwork aligned with the vision of the IIC to promote innovation and societal outreach.

The health camp was actively led by Dr. Ritu Negi, PT, and Dr. Alisha, PT, who provided expert guidance, consultations, and therapeutic interventions. Their involvement ensured professional service delivery and meaningful interaction with community members.

Overall, the activity created a positive impact by enhancing health awareness, encouraging preventive care, and strengthening the bond between the institution and the community, fully aligning with the objectives of the IIC Activity Calendar.
