Educational Site Visit to Sikka Apartments

The proposed academic site visit is intended to provide students with practical exposure to apartment planning, site development, building construction, and architectural design principles. The visit will enable students to understand how theoretical concepts studied in the classroom are applied in real-world residential developments.During the visit, students will systematically study and document various aspects of the project, including site planning and site context; building orientation and climate response; site access and vehicular and pedestrian circulation; apartment planning and spatial organization; floor plans, elevations, sections, and building massing; structural systems and RCC elements; vertical and horizontal circulation; parking and building services; landscape, open spaces, and recreational areas; and relevant architectural details. Students will also record photographs, sketches, measurements wherever permitted, and on-site observations for academic documentation and further analysis.The visit will be conducted strictly for academic and educational purposes under the supervision of faculty members. Students will maintain discipline and adhere to all safety, security, and site regulations specified by the management. The visit will encourage students to critically observe architectural, structural, functional, and environmental aspects of the development and relate their observations to their academic coursework.We therefore request the management to kindly grant permission for the proposed academic visit and extend the necessary cooperation and guidance to the students and accompanying faculty members.
