Educational Visit to Punjab Engineering College (PEC), Chandigarh

The proposed educational visit to Punjab Engineering College (PEC), Chandigarh, is aimed at enriching students’ academic learning through practical exposure to advanced aerospace engineering environments. PEC, being one of India’s premier technical institutions, offers state-of-the-art laboratories and research facilities that provide an ideal platform for experiential learning.

This visit will enhance the technical understanding of students by familiarizing them with modern engineering laboratories and experimental setups. By observing real-time demonstrations and operational equipment, students will gain deeper insights into complex engineering principles that are often limited to textbooks. Such exposure enables them to better visualize and comprehend concepts related to aerospace systems and technologies.A significant aspect of the visit is the opportunity for hands-on learning through guided interaction and observation in specialized facilities such as the Propulsion Lab, Aerodynamics Lab, and Structures Lab. In the Propulsion Lab, students will explore the fundamentals of engine systems and thrust generation. The Aerodynamics Lab will introduce them to airflow analysis and wind tunnel experiments, while the Structures Lab will help them understand material strength, stress behavior, and structural design.

Overall, this educational visit aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and its practical application in aerospace engineering domains. It will foster analytical thinking, technical curiosity, and a deeper interest in engineering careers among students.
