Exploring Prototyping and Innovation Opportunities in Healthcare

The DBMCPS Department, under the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), is organizing a one-day educational field visit to Shubharti Hospital to provide students with practical exposure to real-world healthcare environments. This initiative is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and clinical practice by allowing students to observe hospital operations, diagnostic procedures, and patient care services in a professional setting. Such exposure is essential for developing a deeper understanding of medical systems and enhancing academic learning through real-life experience.

The visit is centered around the theme “Exploring Prototyping and Innovation Opportunities in Healthcare,” which aims to encourage students to think creatively and identify gaps within existing healthcare practices. By interacting with medical professionals and observing modern diagnostic and treatment techniques, students will gain valuable insights into clinical challenges and patient management systems. This experience will help them understand how innovative ideas can be transformed into practical healthcare solutions.

Furthermore, the field visit will promote critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and an entrepreneurial mindset among students. It will also motivate them to explore new approaches for improving healthcare delivery and patient outcomes. Overall, the program will serve as an enriching learning experience, preparing students to contribute effectively to innovation and advancements in the healthcare sector.
