Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Design Thinking

The Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Design Thinking & Innovation is designed to empower faculty members with contemporary knowledge, practical skills, and innovative approaches to address complex academic, industrial, and societal challenges. In today's rapidly evolving technological landscape, educators play a vital role in nurturing creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities among students. This FDP provides a comprehensive understanding of the Design Thinking framework, emphasizing empathy-driven problem identification, ideation, prototyping, testing, and continuous improvement. The program combines expert lectures, interactive discussions, hands-on workshops, case studies, and collaborative learning activities to ensure participants gain practical exposure to innovation methodologies. It focuses on applying Design Thinking principles to engineering education, research, consultancy, product development, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
