The program titled “Financial Education for Young Citizens” by National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM) will be conducted on 19th March 2026 and 20th March for the students of BBA and B.Com. This initiative aims to empower young learners with essential financial knowledge and practical insights into managing personal finances effectively.
In today’s dynamic economic environment, financial literacy has become a fundamental life skill. The session will focus on building awareness about savings, investment avenues, budgeting, risk management, and the role of financial planning in achieving long-term goals. Experts from NISM will guide students on various financial instruments such as equity, mutual funds, bonds, insurance, and systematic investment plans. The program will also highlight the importance of disciplined investing, understanding financial markets, and making informed financial decisions.
Through interactive discussions, real-life examples, and case-based learning, students will gain clarity on concepts related to capital markets and the regulatory framework governing financial systems in India. The session will further introduce students to career opportunities in the securities market and financial services sector.
This initiative is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical financial awareness, enabling students to become financially responsible citizens. By participating in this program, students will enhance their financial decision-making skills and develop a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. The event will serve as a valuable platform for young learners to interact with industry experts and strengthen their understanding of financial planning and investment strategies.
