Guest Lecture on Recent Trends & Techniques in Agriculture

The School of Agriculture, Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University, is organizing a Guest Lecture on “Recent Trends and Techniques in Agriculture” on 11th November 2025 under the aegis of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and Ag-Venture Club. The event aims to provide students and faculty with valuable insights into the latest advancements, innovative practices, and emerging technologies shaping modern agriculture. This session will be taken by the Alumni of DBUU- Mr. Ankur Anand (Young Entrepreneur).

The session will focus on cutting-edge trends such as precision farming, sustainable and climate-smart agriculture, biotechnology applications, digital tools, and the use of artificial intelligence and remote sensing in crop management. It seeks to bridge the gap between traditional agricultural practices and modern technological approaches, encouraging students to adopt innovation-driven methods for enhancing productivity and sustainability. Through expert interactions, participants will gain practical knowledge of modern techniques that can improve efficiency, resource management, and profitability in farming. The event also aims to inspire young agri-entrepreneurs to explore opportunities in agri-tech and agribusiness ventures. Overall, the guest lecture will serve as a platform for knowledge exchange, skill enhancement, and fostering innovation for a sustainable agricultural future.
