होली मिलन समारोह

The Holi Celebration at Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University is scheduled on 3rd March for all faculty and staff members of DBUU, with the aim of bringing everyone together in a vibrant, relaxed and joyful environment. The event is designed as an informal get-together where colleagues from different schools, departments and administrative sections can interact beyond their daily work roles, strengthening bonds of unity, collaboration mutual respect.

The celebration will begin with a warm welcome and traditional tilak, followed by light cultural performances such as music and dance that reflect the spirit of Holi. To ensure a safe and inclusive experience, only dry, organic colors will be used, encouraging participants to enjoy the festival responsibly while maintaining decorum within the campus. Lively Holi songs, a cheerful atmosphere and shared laughter will create memorable moments for all, allowing faculty and staff to de-stress together.

Festive refreshments and Holi-special delicacies will be served, giving everyone an opportunity to sit together, interact and celebrate the rich cultural traditions of India. Overall, the Holi Celebration on 3rd March aims to foster togetherness, promote cultural values and enhance team spirit among the DBUU fraternity, truly embodying the essence of “rangon ka tyohar” within the university campus

AIM of the Event:

  • To promote unity, harmony and a sense of togetherness among all faculty and staff members of DBUU through the collective celebration of Holi.​
  • To provide a relaxed, joyful platform for informal interaction beyond routine work, thereby strengthening interpersonal relationships and teamwork.
  • To celebrate Indian cultural values and traditions by observing Holi in a dignified and vibrant manner within the university campus.
  • To encourage stress-free engagement and mental well-being of employees by offering a break from regular academic and administrative responsibilities.​
  • To promote a safe and responsible celebration by using eco-friendly colors and ensuring respectful participation from all attendees.
