About Event (Minimum 200 Words): The School of Journalism and liberal Arts is organizing a workshop a Industrial Visit at Amar Ujala, Dehradun. The visit is for journalism Students are not merely a learning experience; Amar Ujala, Dehradun would provide our students with a great exposure about media industry, aligning with our curriculum's emphasis on real-world experiences and can enhance their knowledge about newsroom.This visit will be The proposed visit will provide experiential learning of news production and dissemination cycle to our undergraduate and postgraduate journalism students. As suggested by you over the phone, our students can also see the telecast of your channel's live afternoon bulletin and learn the production and technical aspects of live TV programmes. Our students will interact with the newsroom team and get professional answers to their academic and professional queries from field experts. Aim of the Event (Min 5 Points): The aim of the event is1. The visit aims to familiarize our students with the functioning of news industry.2. This will provide processing of news and roles of editor/ reporter/ as well as other technicalities of Print media within the media house3. Also it will be providing students a holistic understanding of the Media world4. Visit will help developing their news sense5. Also this visit will be evaluated in VAM course being run in department in Odd semester Academic year 2024-25
