Industrial Visit to Dwarikadheesh Packaging, Paonta Sahib

The School of Management & Commerce organized an Industrial Visit to Dwarikadheesh Packaging for MBA Major and Minor Logistics students with the objective of providing practical exposure to packaging operations and supply chain management practices. The visit was carefully planned to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world industrial processes, particularly in the field of logistics, operations, and production management. It aimed to enhance students’ understanding of how theoretical concepts are implemented in a dynamic business environment.

During the visit, students were introduced to the complete packaging lifecycle, including raw material procurement, production planning, quality control, warehousing, and dispatch management. Company representatives provided a detailed explanation of various types of packaging materials, machinery used in production, and standardized quality checks followed to maintain industry benchmarks. The experts emphasized the importance of efficient packaging in ensuring product safety, minimizing damages, optimizing costs, and facilitating smooth transportation across supply chains.
