The Industrial Visit to Rockhill Plant Tissue Culture (PTC) Laboratory, Dehradun, scheduled for 18th February 2026, is being organized with the objective of providing students practical exposure to modern biotechnological techniques used in plant propagation and research. This visit will bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world industrial practices in the field of plant tissue culture.

Rockhill PTC Laboratory is known for its advanced infrastructure and scientific approach towards micropropagation, plant conservation, and large-scale production of disease-free and high-quality plant varieties. During the visit, students will be introduced to various stages of plant tissue culture, including media preparation, sterilization, inoculation, incubation, and acclimatization processes. The technical experts at the laboratory will demonstrate how controlled environmental conditions are maintained to ensure healthy plant growth.
