Integrating Bioinformatics with Startup Ecosystem and Research Commercialization

The primary aim of the 5-day Hands-on Bioinformatics Workshop organized by the Department of Biotechnology at Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University, in collaboration with UCOST, is to equip participants with practical knowledge and technical skills in the rapidly evolving field of bioinformatics. The workshop is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical understanding and real-world applications by providing immersive, hands-on training in computational biology, genomics, and proteomics.

In today’s data-driven biological sciences, the ability to analyze and interpret complex biological datasets is essential. This workshop aims to familiarize students and research scholars with modern bioinformatics tools and techniques that are widely used in research and industry. Through expert lectures, guided practical sessions, and interactive discussions, participants will gain exposure to sequence analysis, molecular visualization, and biological data interpretation.
