The University will celebrate International Women’s Day (IWD) on 9th March with great enthusiasm and respect to honor the achievements, contributions, and resilience of women across various fields. Observed globally on 8th March every year, International Women's Day is a significant occasion dedicated to promoting gender equality, women’s empowerment, and inclusive growth in society.
The celebration aims to recognize the social, economic, cultural, and political accomplishments of women while also raising awareness about the importance of equal opportunities and rights. The event will bring together faculty members, students, and invited guests to reflect on the progress made toward gender equality and the challenges that still need to be addressed.
The program will include motivational speeches by distinguished women professionals, cultural performances, and interactive sessions highlighting women’s leadership, entrepreneurship, and achievements in diverse sectors. Special emphasis will be placed on inspiring young students to pursue their goals with confidence and determination. Activities such as panel discussions, poetry recitations, and appreciation ceremonies will add value to the celebration.
The event will also serve as a platform to encourage dialogue on women’s safety, workplace equality, mental well-being, and leadership roles. Through this celebration, the institution seeks to foster a culture of respect, inclusivity, and empowerment within the campus community.
