INTER-INSTITUTIONAL STARTUP CHALLENGE: HEALTHCARE INNOVATION IDEATHON

The Intra-Institutional Startup Challenge: Quiz & Idea Presentation (Ideathon) is an innovation-focused initiative organized by the School of Pharmacy & Research (SOPR), Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University, under the guidance of the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), in association with the Arogya Club. The event aims to provide students with a platform to explore entrepreneurship, innovation, problem-solving, and startup development in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.

The Ideathon encourages students to identify real-world problems and develop creative, practical, and technology-driven solutions. Through the idea presentation component, participants will present their innovative startup concepts before a panel of mentors/judges. Students will be guided to focus on the problem statement, proposed solution, novelty, feasibility, target beneficiaries, market potential, and possible business model. The activity will help students understand how an innovative idea can be transformed into a viable startup opportunity.

The event will also promote interaction between students and faculty mentors, encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration and entrepreneurial thinking. Participants will receive valuable feedback on their ideas, enabling them to improve their concepts and understand the fundamentals of startup planning, product development, intellectual property, and commercialization.
