A nursing oath ceremony is a formal event that marks a student’s entry inti a nursing profession. The ceremony of lamp lighting, which pays tribute to Florence Nightingale, known as ‘The Lady with lamp’. The ceremony also includes an oath taking where students pledge to uphold the values of their profession and care for their patients.
