Mega Blood Donation Camp 3.0

Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University  in collaboration with the NSS Cell and the Student Welfare Cell, proudly organized the Mega Blood Donation Camp 3.0. The initiative aimed to promote the spirit of humanity, social responsibility, and community service among students, faculty, and staff.

Blood donation is one of the noblest acts that can save countless lives, and through this camp, DBUU sought to create awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and non-teaching staff, who came forward with great zeal to contribute towards this life-saving cause.

The camp was organized under proper medical supervision, ensuring safe and hygienic procedures for all donors. Representatives from renowned blood banks and healthcare professionals supported the smooth execution of the program. Donors were appreciated with certificates and tokens of gratitude for their selfless contribution.

This third successful edition of the Mega Blood Donation Camp highlighted DBUU’s commitment to fostering a culture of empathy and service beyond academics. Such initiatives not only help meet the urgent need for blood in hospitals but also inspire the youth to take active steps in building a healthier and compassionate society. 

Highlights of the Event

• The camp was inaugurated by respected university authorities, along with coordinators of NSS Cell and Student Welfare Cell.
• A large number of students registered and actively participated, showcasing their enthusiasm for social welfare.
• Professional doctors, nurses, and paramedical staff ensured safety, proper screening, and smooth donation procedures.
• Awareness talks were delivered to dispel myths about blood donation and to motivate more participants.
• Refreshments and appreciation certificates were provided to all donors.
