About Event:
Mega Blood Donation pledges to serve the country
through community services. The Mega Blood Donation Drive exists to make India blood sufficient. Our country is currently deficient in about 2 million blood units. The pandemic and the vaccination have blown this deficiency to further lower levels. With our continuous efforts. Mega blood donation will be very effective as currently the Thalassemia is one of the common diseases.
Content of the Events:
- Govt. Doon Medical College & Hospital (Blood Bank)
- Dr. K.K.B.M Subharti Hospital (Blood Bank)
- Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital (Blood Bank)
Highlights: Various general tests will be conducted and Blood units will be collected.

- Ensure safety and quality of blood
- Educating the community on the beneficial
aspects of blood donation and harmful effect of collecting blood from paid donors - Promote awareness and education to the general public
- Motivate and maintain a permanent well-indexed record of voluntary blood donors
- Actively encourage voluntary blood donation and gradually eliminate professional blood donors
