The Anti-Ragging Committee of DBUU is organizing a Nukkad Natak on 26th September 2025 (Friday) at the Basketball Court of the University. The theme of the event, “Be the person you wish to see. Spread respect, keep campus free,” reflects the university's strong commitment to promoting harmony, respect, and a positive campus culture.This event is designed to use the power of street theatre to create awareness among students about the ill effects of ragging. Unlike lectures or formal talks, a Nukkad Natak brings social messages to life in a simple yet impactful way, enabling the audience to connect emotionally with the issue. The performance will highlight how ragging affects individuals, disrupts unity, and undermines the healthy environment of a university.
The core aim of the activity is to sensitize students, making them realize that mutual respect and empathy are the foundations of an enriching learning experience. It will also reinforce the message that ragging in any form is unacceptable and stands against the values of discipline, unity, and personal dignity.By blending creativity with social responsibility, the Nukkad Natak will not only spread awareness but also inspire students to contribute towards maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive campus. The Anti-Ragging Committee envisions this event as a step forward in building a supportive community where every student feels secure, valued, and free to grow both academically and personally.
