Online Training Session on Advance Excel in the age of AI in collaboration with FICCI FLO

The online training session “Advanced Excel in the Age of AI” has been specially organized for the faculty members of Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University to enhance their data management, analytical, and digital productivity skills. Conducted by Pitresh Kaushik, the session aims to equip educators with advanced Excel techniques and introduce them to the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in academic and administrative workflows.

As higher education increasingly relies on data-driven decision-making, faculty members are required to manage student records, analyze academic performance, prepare reports, conduct research, and handle various administrative tasks efficiently. This training will provide participants with practical exposure to advanced Excel features such as PivotTables, data visualization, dashboards, conditional formatting, advanced formulas, data validation, and automation tools. The session will also demonstrate how AI-powered technologies can complement Excel by simplifying repetitive tasks, accelerating data analysis, and generating meaningful insights from complex datasets.

Through interactive demonstrations and real-world academic use cases, participants will learn how to streamline routine activities, improve reporting accuracy, and enhance research productivity. The program will highlight innovative ways of integrating AI tools with Excel to support teaching, assessment, accreditation processes, institutional planning, and scholarly research.

The training reflects the university’s commitment to fostering digital competence and continuous professional development among its faculty members. By embracing modern data analysis techniques and AI-enabled solutions, educators can improve efficiency, make informed decisions, and adapt to the evolving technological landscape of higher education.

By the end of the session, participants will gain practical skills that can be immediately applied in academic, research, and administrative contexts. The program is expected to provide valuable insights into the future of data management and empower faculty members to leverage the combined strengths of Advanced Excel and Artificial Intelligence in their professional responsibilities
