Pages of Progress: Honouring Librarian Day

About Event- 

These events aim to raise awareness about the importance
of libraries, promote literacy, and engage students in
various intellectual and creative activities. The events are
scheduled for the 12 and 13th of August, 2024, in honor of
the birth anniversary of Padmashri Dr. S.R. Ranganathan,
the father of Library Science.

Department Name-  library staff of various schools, and library committee of DBUU.

Course Name- Students from all schools within DBUU.

 

AIM of the Event:

1. Promoting Library Science: To raise awareness about
   the contributions of Dr. S.R. Ranganathan (Father of
   Library Science.) and the importance of libraries in
   education,
2. Engaging Students: To engage students in various
   intellectual and creative activities that enhance their skills
   and knowledge.
3. Fostering Creativity: To provide a platform for
   students to express their creativity through different
   mediums.
4. Encouraging Teamwork: To promote teamwork and
   collaboration among students through interactive activities.
