PHYSIOTHERAPY CAMP- MARATHON MUSCLE RESCUE ZONE

The Marathon Muscle Rescue Zone is a dedicated physiotherapy camp designed to support runners before, during, and after a marathon. Long-distance running places significant stress on muscles, joints, and ligaments, and proper recovery is essential to maintain performance and prevent injuries. This camp serves as a specialized care station where professional physiotherapists provide immediate support to marathon participants.

At the Marathon Muscle Rescue Zone, runners can receive a variety of physiotherapy services aimed at reducing fatigue, relieving muscle tightness, and promoting faster recovery. The camp typically offers services such as sports massage, stretching guidance, muscle relaxation techniques, taping for joint support, and basic injury assessment. These services help athletes manage common running-related problems such as muscle cramps, shin pain, knee discomfort, and lower back strain.

One of the key goals of this physiotherapy camp is injury prevention. Experienced physiotherapists assess the runner’s posture, movement patterns, and muscle condition to provide quick advice and corrective exercises. Runners also receive guidance on proper warm-up and cool-down routines, hydration, and recovery strategies that can improve their endurance and overall performance.

The Marathon Muscle Rescue Zone is not only for elite athletes but also for amateur runners and fitness enthusiasts who participate in the marathon. It creates a supportive environment where participants can relax, recover, and gain valuable knowledge about caring for their bodies during endurance sports.
