SCI-VISION: Platform for innovative ideas, Business Models and demonstration (Inter-University Competition)

The SCI-VISION event is conceptualized as a comprehensive platform to promote innovation, creativity, and interdisciplinary learning among students from different universities. As described in the activity proposal , the event integrates diverse activities such as reel making, poster presentations, quiz competitions, and ideathon pitching to provide participants with a well-rounded experiential learning opportunity. The central aim of this event is to encourage students to move beyond conventional classroom learning and actively engage in applying their knowledge to real-world challenges, particularly those aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The event is designed to cultivate creative expression and critical thinking by encouraging students to present ideas in innovative formats. Activities like reel-making and poster presentation enable participants to communicate complex concepts in a concise, visually appealing, and impactful manner. This not only enhances their creativity but also strengthens their digital literacy and storytelling skills, which are essential in today’s fast-evolving technological landscape.

In addition, SCI-VISION aims to enhance analytical abilities and general awareness through knowledge-based competitions such as quizzes. These activities challenge students to think quickly, make informed decisions, and stay updated with current affairs and global issues. The ideathon component further supports the development of entrepreneurial skills by providing a platform for students to design, evaluate, and pitch business ideas that offer practical and sustainable solutions to societal problems.

Another significant aim of the event is to build confidence, teamwork, and effective communication skills. By participating in group-based activities and presenting their ideas before an audience, students gain valuable experience in collaboration, leadership, and public speaking.
