Teachers’ Day is a special occasion dedicated to expressing our gratitude and respect towards our teachers. It is celebrated every year on 5th September in India to mark the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a great scholar, philosopher, and the second President of India. Our college celebrated Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm, joy, and respect.

The celebration began with a warm welcome to all the teachers and distinguished guests. The programme was organized by the students, who decorated the college auditorium with colorful balloons, flowers, and attractive posters. The event started with the lighting of the lamp, followed by a welcome speech. Students spoke about the valuable contribution of teachers in shaping our lives and helping us achieve our goals.

A variety of cultural programmes were organized to make the occasion memorable. Students presented beautiful songs, dances, poems, and short skits dedicated to their teachers. Some students also delivered speeches highlighting the importance of teachers in society. The performances created an atmosphere of happiness and brought smiles to everyone’s faces.

One of the most enjoyable parts of the celebration was when students took the roles of teachers for a short period. They conducted classes and interacted with their classmates in a humorous and entertaining manner. This activity helped students understand the responsibilities and challenges faced by teachers. It also created a strong bond of friendship and mutual respect between teachers and students.

The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks and the distribution of small gifts and cards to the teachers as a token of love and appreciation. The entire event was filled with laughter, gratitude, and memorable moments.
