UDAAN – The Career Guidance Talk

UDAAN – The Career Guidance Talk is an expert session to be organized by the Department of Agriculture under the AG-VENTURE Club on 19th February 2026 at the Seminar Hall, First Floor (Main Building), Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University. The event is designed to provide structured career guidance and professional orientation to undergraduate students of Agriculture, especially those in their final and pre-final years, who are preparing to enter the professional world.

In today’s competitive employment landscape, skills such as business communication, sector understanding, personality development, stress management, and interview preparedness play a decisive role in student success. While academic knowledge forms a strong foundation, students increasingly require exposure to industry expectations and workplace readiness. With this vision, ISAB Greater Noida has been actively engaging with academic institutions across the country to bridge the gap between academics and industry requirements, and UDAAN serves as a focused initiative toward this objective.

The UDAAN Career Guidance Session will be conducted by Dr. Pradyumna Pandey, Chairman, ISAB Greater Noida, a senior HR leader with over 30 years of experience in leading Indian and multinational organizations. The one-hour interactive session will provide insights into employment opportunities in the food and agriculture sector, career planning, and professional growth pathways. Special emphasis will be placed on business communication, public speaking, personality development, emotional resilience, stress management, and interview preparation to enhance students’ overall employability.

The session will also focus on workplace readiness, helping students understand professional expectations, organizational culture, and the skills required to transition successfully from academics to industry. Interactive discussions and experience-sharing will allow students to clarify career-related queries and gain practical guidance. Additionally, the visit aims to explore the possibility of a non-commercial, non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for long-term academic collaboration between ISAB Greater Noida and the university.

Overall, UDAAN – The Career Guidance Talk will act as a valuable platform to empower students with clarity, confidence, and career readiness while supporting Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education).
