Walk for Awareness, Walk for Safety - ADR Rally

Walk for Awareness, Walk for Safety – ADR Rally

The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) in collaboration with the Arogya Club is organizing a Rally on Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR) under the theme “Walk for Awareness, Walk for Safety.” The rally aims to spread awareness among students, healthcare professionals, and the general public about the importance of identifying, reporting, and preventing adverse drug reactions.

Adverse Drug Reactions are unwanted or harmful effects of medicines that can impact patient safety and treatment outcomes. Lack of awareness often leads to under-reporting, delayed treatment, and increased health risks. Through this rally, participants will highlight the significance of safe medicine use, pharmacovigilance, and the need for responsible drug monitoring.

Students will march with banners, posters, and slogans, emphasizing key messages such as “Safe Medicines, Safe Lives,” and “Report ADRs, Save Lives.” The event will also encourage people to be proactive in seeking medical advice, reporting unusual drug effects, and supporting safe healthcare practices.

This initiative not only strengthens the role of budding pharmacists in promoting patient safety but also instills a sense of social responsibility. Together, let us walk for a healthier, safer future where medicines heal without harm.
