World Cancer Day Celebration -Theme: United by Unique

World Cancer Day Celebration -Theme: United by Unique , in association  with  NSS cell, and Red Cross Society, Uttarakhand State Branch

On the occasion of World Cancer Day, our institution, in association with the NSS Cell and the Red Cross Society, Uttarakhand State Branch, is organizing a meaningful awareness initiative aligned with the global theme “United by Unique.” This theme highlights that every individual’s experience with cancer is unique, yet collective action and compassion unite us in the fight against this disease. The event comprises two major activities: aCancer Awareness Rally and a Blood Donation Camp. The Cancer Awareness Rally aims to educate the public about cancer prevention, early detection, and the importance of healthy lifestyle choices. Through slogans, placards, and community interaction, the rally seeks to dispel myths, reduce stigma, and encourage timely medical consultation.Complementing the rally, the Blood Donation Camp reflects the spirit of humanity and solidarity. Donated blood plays a crucial role in cancer treatment, emergency care, and saving lives. Conducted under medical supervision and in collaboration with the Red Cross Society, the camp ensures safe and voluntary blood donation.Together, these activities emphasize awareness, empathy, and service, reinforcing the message that while cancer affects individuals uniquely, we are united in our responsibility to support, care, and act.
