The Institution proudly observed World Patient Safety Day, dedicated to raising awareness and promoting actions that ensure safe healthcare practices for all.Department of BMRIT is going to celebrate World Patient Safety Day on the Theme of Safe Care of Every Newborn and Every Child.Dr Rohit  Gondwal Consultant Psychiatrist presently working at the State Mental Health Institute, Selakui, Dehradun is invited for guest lecture The event served as a reminder of the global priority to minimize risks, prevent harm, and strengthen the culture of safety in healthcare systems. The program began with a keynote address by faculty experts highlighting the theme of the year, emphasizing the importance of patient-centered care, effective communication, and adherence to safety protocols. Students and participants were informed about the significance of patient safety as a critical component of healthcare delivery and the shared responsibility of healthcare professionals in reducing medical errors. interactive sessions and poster presentations provided a platform for students to showcase innovative ideas on improving safety measures in hospitals, clinics, and paramedical practices.
