The School of Agriculture, Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University, is proudly organizing World Vegetarian Day on 10th November 2025 to promote the values of healthy living, sustainability, and compassion towards nature. The event aims to create awareness about the environmental, nutritional, and ethical benefits of adopting a vegetarian lifestyle. It will bring together students, faculty, and guests to celebrate the diversity and richness of plant-based foods. The celebration will feature insightful talks, poster presentations, and interactive sessions highlighting the role of vegetarianism in promoting human health and reducing ecological footprints. Students will participate in competitions such as extempore, poster presentation competition , and recipe demonstrations to showcase creativity and awareness about vegetarian diets. Eminent speakers from the agricultural and health sectors will share their perspectives on sustainable food systems and the importance of plant-based nutrition in addressing global challenges.
