About Event
We are organizing a one-day Pottery Workshop on 10-05-2024 to foster creativity and help students develop their artistic abilities.
The workshop shall be focusing on Encouraging students to express their creativity and individuality through their pottery creations. During the event, trained instructors with expertise in pottery will supervise the hands-on activities.
Content of the Event:
1. Learn about the different types of clay used in pottery, their properties, and how to prepare clay for use.
2. Explore hand-building techniques to create various forms like bowls, mugs, or sculptures.
3. Learn about glazes, their composition, and how to apply them to pottery to achieve different colors, finishes, and effects.
4. Participants will learn how clay behaves under pressure, how it responds to water, and how firing transforms it into a durable ceramic.
