About Event:
This educational visit to Subir Raha Oil Museum, ONGC will give exposure to students about the oil industry and its significant history. The Subir Raha Oil Museum was inaugurated on August 14, 2005, by ONGC and is situated inside Tel Bhawan, the ONGC headquarters in Dehradun. The building was previously known as Patiala House as it was the palace of Patiala’s Maharaja in 1956.
Functions of Subir Raha Oil Museum, ONGC: –
- To Provide the detailed information about how the Oil Industry started.
- To manage entire gamut of activities pertaining to extraction of oil presented in simplistic yet effective manner.
- There are also scale models of various vehicles and transports used for the extraction of petroleum from the sea bed and ground.
- There are real vehicles placed in the park.
