One day Educational visit to Malsi Deer Park on occasion of Wildlife week 2024

This year's theme, “Wildlife Conservation Through Coexistence,” aims to raise awareness about the pressing challenges faced by wildlife and the urgent need for collective action to preserve these invaluable resources. This proposal outlines a plan to organize the Educational visit to Malsi Deer Park for the students of Forestry, School of Agriculture, DBUU to promote awareness, on the above theme. The aim is to engage students in understanding the significance of the wildlife, its impact on our environment, and steps for its protection. Educating the students about wildlife is crucial for the future of conservation.

Highlights of Events: Students will gain deep knowledge about Forestry and Wood utilization and management. They will learn to restore and sustain Forest.

AIM of the Event:

The aim of the at the School of Allied Sciences (SoAS) encompasses several key objectives:

  1. Students have historical museum visit in their practical curriculum.
  2. Students will learn about habit, habitat, in-situ and ex-situ conservation.
  3. Students will learn about wildlife management.
  4. Students will learn to collect, restore and preserve important germplams.
  5. Students will get enhance knowledge about India’s wildlife, distribution of wildlife, protected areas.
