The Dev Bhoomi Medical college of Paramedical Sciences is planning to organize The event "Preventative Measures Against Injuries Among Paralympic Athletes" which will focus on addressing the unique challenges Paralympic athletes face in avoiding injuries. This event will bring together sports scientists, physiotherapists, coaches, and Paralympic athletes to discuss effective strategies for preventing both acute and chronic injuries. The event will cover key areas such as tailored training programs, injury risk assessments, adaptive equipment, and recovery techniques specific to athletes with disabilities. The expert will highlight the importance of individualized approaches in injury prevention, considering the athletes' physical conditions and sport-specific demands. The role of strength training, conditioning, mobility work, and proper biomechanics in reducing injury risk will be discussed.
