This is to inform you that the Department of Microbiology & Biotechnology wishes to organize a Guest Lecture and Oral hygiene awareness camp for the students of Microbiology & Biotechnology. The purpose of an Oral Hygiene awareness camp-based guest lecture is to educate the audience about oral hygiene, oral diseases, its causes, symptoms, prevention, and treatment while addressing the myths and misconceptions surrounding the disease. It aims to promote early detection and timely medical intervention to prevent disabilities and complications.

- Inform about the proper use of dental products like toothpaste, mouthwash, and toothbrushes.
- Raise Awareness: About Dental Diseases such as cavities, gum disease (gingivitis and periodontitis), and bad breath.
- Promoting Regular Dental Check-ups: Stress the importance of visiting a dentist regularly for professional cleaning and check-ups, ideally every six months.
- Promoting Long-term Oral Health: Foster a proactive approach to oral health care, encouraging individuals to take responsibility for their oral hygiene throughout their lives.
