"The Fizz Battle" is an exciting mocktail competition for the students of Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University (DBUU), designed to ignite creativity, enhance culinary skills, and encourage healthy, zero-proof mixology. This event brings students together for a refreshing challenge where they can explore innovative techniques and ingredients to craft the perfect mocktail, without the use of alcohol. As part of this friendly competition, participants will go head-to-head to showcase their flair for flavor, presentation, and originality in mocktail design.
Students from various disciplines are invited to participate, bringing their unique perspectives to the art of mocktail creation. The event will feature multiple rounds, each with specific themes, from “Tropical Twist” to “Spice & Sparkle,” pushing participants to think outside the box and explore new flavors. Each mocktail will be judged on taste, presentation, creativity, and adherence to the round's theme, ensuring a balanced and fair assessment.
Judges, including faculty members from the culinary and hospitality departments, will provide feedback on each creation, giving participants valuable insights into professional presentation and taste profiling. Not only does “The Fizz Battle” offer students a fun and interactive platform to hone their culinary skills, but it also emphasizes the art of zero-proof mixology, promoting wellness and creativity through beverages that are as delicious as they are alcohol-free.
