Fin Spark-Think Finance, Speak Out, Spark Change
About the Event
The FinSpark Club is organising a Literacy Quiz on 18 September 2026, under the initiative of the SOMC Department. The event is designed to promote financial literacy, encourage informed decision-making, and create awareness about the importance of understanding money and financial concepts in everyday life.
The theme of the club, “Think Finance, Speak Out, Spark Change,” reflects its vision of developing financially aware and confident individuals who can understand financial matters, express their ideas, and contribute positively to society. The Literacy Quiz will provide participants with an engaging platform to test and expand their knowledge of finance, banking, savings, investments, budgeting, digital payments, financial planning, and other essential financial concepts.
The event aims to make learning about finance interesting, interactive, and accessible to students. Through a competitive yet educational environment, participants will have the opportunity to challenge their knowledge, learn new concepts, and develop greater confidence in discussing financial issues.
The quiz will also encourage students to think critically about financial choices and understand how financial awareness can influence personal well-being and responsible decision-making. By bringing students together in an interactive learning experience, the event seeks to foster curiosity, healthy competition, and a stronger culture of financial literacy within the student community.
The FinSpark Literacy Quiz promises to be an informative and exciting event that combines learning with participation and fun. It is an opportunity for students to think finance, speak out with confidence, and spark positive change through financial awareness.
