About Event-
International Nurses Day is celebrated annually around the world on 12 May – the anniversary of the birth of Florence Nightingale – and is led by the International Council of Nurses (ICN). Every year there is a different theme and for 2023 it is: “Our Nurses. Our Future.” Dr Cipriano added: “Together our future depends on every nurse, every voice, to not only be on the front lines of care, but also be on the front lines of change.” The systematic handing over of the lamp signifies the respect nurses have for each other and the passing of knowledge from one nurse to another. In addition, it is a chance for us to recognize their efforts towards making the world a better place & valuing the care rendered by them to promote health every citizen.
